B-001 – Where It All Began

Every journey has a beginning. This tray is mine.

It was never intended to become the first piece in a collection. It began as a simple birthday gift, created with one purpose—to make something meaningful for someone special.

As the timber revealed its natural shape and character, it seemed to guide each decision. Rather than forcing the wood into a design, the design grew from the wood itself.

By the time the tray was finished, something had changed. It was no longer just a handcrafted gift; it had sparked a passion to create more. One project became another, and before long, Warthog Boards was born.

Every board and tray that followed can trace its roots back to this single piece of timber. It wasn't simply the first tray—it was the beginning of a journey.
